
Challenge
NayaMed, a Medtronic startup was formed to revolutionize the purchase path for Medtronic’s economy range medical devices (heart pacemakers and defibrillators). These are devices that help to keep the heart functioning properly.
Approach
R3VE was responsible for creating the User Experience and marketing materials to bring forth the innovative values of the new Nayamed brand. This included concept creation and direction for promotional videos and materials as well the UX and UI Design.
Results
The NayaMed business generated $4 million USD in its second year.
The units are sold only online, not through high-salaried sales representatives. Physician and nurse training and support is no longer in-person, but virtual. Costs are much, much less than in the mainstream business.
